Ebenezer “Eb” Laing has over 25 years of experience providing geospatial services to support projects in the Transportation, Utilities, Energy, and the Land Development industries. Eb is a champion for growth as Leader of the Aerial Operations business unit, where he continuously provides technical expertise, market knowledge, and execution to support all of SAM’s efforts to increase market share across all the markets that SAM provides services to.
Eb received his Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Master of Science in Geomatics from the University of Florida. Eb is a Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) licensed in Florida and a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) licensed in Texas and is an active member of surveyor societies. He began his survey career as a site surveyor working in London, England planning and executing high accuracy construction and boundary surveys in one of the most complex, dense urban environments in Europe.
Eb’s favorite SAM core value is Excellence in Service. Eb makes sure he never stops short in ensuring excellent customer service and client satisfaction to all his clients. Originally from Ghana, Eb resides in Austin, Texas with his wife and two sons. Eb enjoys traveling and watching basketball, soccer, and tennis. He takes away from his busy schedule to participate in pick up recreational soccer games at least twice per week.
