David Poole has over 20 years of experience in operations management, 15 of which focus on the AEC industry. His experience at SAM includes a broad range of responsibilities covering field crew lead, field crew coordination, field operations management, assisting the project management teams with crew staffing, research and development of field-data-collection hardware, and software, training, and recruiting.
As Vice President and Corporate Director of Field Operations, he leads large teams of field crews and managers, throughout the nation. This includes ensuring that all field employees have the skills, resources, training, and support to successfully execute and deliver multiple discipline projects efficiently, safely, and on time. Along with leading of the Corporate Field Operations, he is highly involved with corporate capital expenditures, acquisition integration, and reporting operational analysis to executive management.
He is a member of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS) and the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS).
David’s favorite core value is Community and he is passionate about helping others out. He is active in his community by helping others when in need and frequently volunteers for several local nonprofit organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House, Canyon Lake Animal Shelter, and Central Texas Food Bank. David currently resides in Canyon Lake, Texas where he enjoys boating and fishing.
