Dan Pollock is the Vice President of Corporate Development & Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) at SAM. He collaborates with executive leadership to shape and execute the firm’s corporate development strategy, identifying and driving M&A growth opportunities. Dan leads all aspects of the M&A process, from strategic prioritization and deal sourcing to transaction execution and post-merger and strategic integration. He also plays a key role in financial and operational analysis, supporting management in advancing SAM’s long-term strategic vision

Dan joined SAM while completing his MBA at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas in Austin, where he concentrated in finance and strategy, graduating with honors. Prior to McCombs, he spent nearly six years at Deloitte & Touche. As a manager with Deloitte’s M&A Transaction Advisory practice he advised on numerous M&A transactions by providing pre-acquisition financial and accounting due diligence and analytical services to both strategic and financial buyers. Prior to his M&A role, Dan worked in Deloitte’s Audit and Enterprise Risk Services practice.

Dan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. John Fisher College, where he played on the football team. He is a CFA® charterholder and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas.
