Chad Thurner

Chad Thurner provides the strategic leadership for SAM’s Florida offices to establish long-range goals, strategies, operational plans, and allocation of resources to meet or exceed short- and long-term office growth and performance objectives. With 25 years of experience in the surveying and mapping profession, as well as 15 years in the geographic information system (GIS) industry, Chad has developed an extensive background in a variety of surveying and GIS projects.

Chad is a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Texas. He is a member of several industry associations, including the Florida Surveying and Mapping Society (FSMS), TEAM FL, and the American Council of Engineering Council – FL (ACEC_FL). Chad’s professional experience spans a wide range of clients, successfully executing projects for investor-owned utility (IOU), FDOT, state government agencies, and local municipalities.
