Brian Belcher

Brian Belcher has over 20 years of experience providing multidisciplinary services in the AEC industry. Brian has a diverse background that includes project execution, operations management, and business development. As Associate and Operations Manager, he is responsible for providing support and leadership to local project execution teams to meet their goals, while enhancing efficiencies and executing strategic initiatives.

Brian has extensive experience working with both public and private sector clients in various markets including electric utilities, renewables, energy, natural gas utilities, water/wastewater, and transportation. Brian studied Land Surveying Technology at Vincennes University and is a Professional Land Surveyor in the state of Wisconsin. He is a member of several professional and industry-related associations including the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS), Ohio Oil and Gas Association (OOGA), American Clean Power (ACP) and the International Right of Way Association (IRWA).

Brian’s favorite SAM core value is People. Brian believes that every successful business is built on the combined efforts of its employees and that it is essential to provide a culture that fosters collaboration and cooperation while focusing on the continued growth and development of its employees. Brian supports the community through volunteer programs with the City of Columbus Parks and Recreation and with the City of Westerville Watershed Management. He enjoys spending time outdoors, camping and fishing, with his wife, Britt and their two children.
