This project consisted of upgrading and rebuilding the existing wooden H-frame construction 69kV transmission line from the Fort Lancaster Substation located southeast of Sheffield in Pecos County, Texas, to the Hamilton Road Substation located east of Del Rio, Texas in Val Verde, Texas to 138kV monopole construction. SAM provided primary and secondary project control, ground control for aerial mapping, 2-foot contour aerial mapping services, LiDAR services, 1/2-foot pixel digital orthophotos, supplemental design surveying, LiDAR QC services, boundary surveys, easements, and construction surveying services for the entire project. We surveyed boundaries of 112 parcels and have prepared 70 easements to date.
