For Bradley Stockstrom, our Regional Safety Manager, Halloween is more than a fun holiday filled with candy and costumes. It’s a time to show off months of hard work on elaborate decorations and raise money for a close-to-the-heart cause.
Stockstrom has led Cliff’s Halloween Town, a spooky St. Charles neighborhood display with the goal of raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for the past 10 years. Stockstrom founded the town alongside neighbor and friend Cliff Mossberger, the display’s namesake, after he received a leukemia diagnosis.
Cliff passed away four years ago, but his goal of helping the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and its Light the Night initiative lives on. Over the past 10 years, including this year’s funds, Stockstrom said the Halloween Town had raised roughly $95,000 through donation drop-offs stationed outside his house.
