SAM has been selected for four statewide categories for the Missouri Department of Transportation’s (MoDOT) On-Call list for 2023 through 2026. Effective July 1, 2023, SAM teams will serve as consultants in the LiDAR and Photogrammetry, Utility Accommodation and Coordination, Subsurface Utility Engineering, and Surveying categories. While SAM has been selected as an On-Call provider previously, this is our first cycle being awarded the Surveying and Utility Accommodation & Coordination categories.
SAM has a history of successful programmatic success in Missouri, including providing Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services in the St. Louis District, wide-ranging mobile LiDAR mapping data, and aerial data collection, including LiDAR imaging for various projects.
SAM Senior Vice President and Office Manager, Brandon Espinosa said, “Being chosen again, not just for the categories we previously held but also two new ones, speaks to our breadth of services and value as a trusted provider to MoDOT. We look forward to our continued partnership and supporting infrastructure improvements across the state.”
Our team was chosen for these four categories due to the broad range of services SAM provides and the extent of our resources, such as our mobile LiDAR mapping unit, our crewed and uncrewed aerial aircraft, ten Missouri-licensed land surveyors, and two licensed engineers. Additionally, SAM’s growing presence in Missouri and the Midwest, with our new office in Kansas City and two existing offices bookending each side of the state, broadens our reach and ability to provide service quickly anywhere MoDOT may need.
