We are pleased to announce that Reuben Chandler, PE has joined SAM as a North Carolina Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Area Leader in our Charlotte office. Mr. Chandler will spearhead SAM’s continued growth and expansion in the East Region and the North Carolina transportation market.
Prior to joining SAM, Mr. Chandler spent 32-years with the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), with his last 4 years concentrated on construction engineering service. In his role at SAM, he will focus on working directly with NCDOT as well as with various cities, counties, and municipalities in North Carolina.
Mr. Chandler’s expertise with NCDOT operations, construction services solutions, construction administration and management, quality control and quality assurance, and construction materials testing management will add to SAM’s strategic approach on the East Coast.

Reuben Chandler is a licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from North Carolina State University.
