SAM is excited to announce the promotion of Amanda J. Allred, PLS, to Director of Organic Growth. Amanda’s visionary leadership, unique approach to incorporating innovative solutions, and near thirty-year career in the Geomatics industry make her ideally suited to help continue SAM’s rapid expansion and development nationwide. She will continue to ensure our success by driving operational, strategic, and financial objectives, as well as collaborating with SAM’s leadership team.
In her previous position as Geomatics Department Manager, Amanda helped implement tactical plans, organize program management teams, lead opportunity pursuits, and mentor SAM’s team members. Her experience coordinating large-scale projects in multiple markets, managing technical staff, and providing expert testimony enabled SAM to tackle even the most complex challenges with confidence and precision.
Deeply active in the Geospatial community, Amanda the former President of the National Society of Professional Land Surveyors, and is a representative for the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG), steering the profession globally to ensure its importance is both utilized and understood. As the former owner and leader of her own surveying firm, Amanda is attuned to the industry at the local, regional, and national level.
