As a team member of the general engineering consultant (GEC), SAM provides utility services for the entire 79 miles of Interstate 35 through the TxDOT Austin District. This includes oversight of all utility coordination efforts by Segment Design Teams for the north and south segments. Additionally, SAM provides cost estimating and procurement support for the proposed design-build section between U.S. 290 on the north to U.S. 290 on the south.
