Jaime Higgins

Jaime Higgins is a professionally licensed land surveyor and Certified Photogrammetrist. He first worked with SAM from 2011 to 2015 as Senior Project Manager before returning in the role of Operations Manager for Austin’s Aerial Mapping office, supporting related business efforts throughout the country. In this role, Jaime utilizes his knowledge and experience to oversee the team in achieving their project goals, including geospatial surveying and mapping, aerial and mobile LiDAR, photogrammetry, and other remote sensing technologies.

Jaime has worked continuously within the AEC industry since 1986. As a Certified Photogrammetrist (ASPRS) since 2018 and a license-holder in 7 States across the Southeast since 1999, Jaime provides SAM’s clients with decades of experience delivering geospatial services and products tailored to a client’s specific project needs, whether it be schedule, budget, or accuracy. Jaime has provided professional services in industries as varied as electric transmission, renewable generation, land title, commercial, industrial, civil, construction, and rail projects across both the US and abroad.

Jaime’s favorite core value is Integrity and Ethics. He believes this summarizes all other SAM core values, where everyone is treated with respect and clients receive the best service possible. Jaime and his wife recently relocated from Moreland, Georgia, to Spicewood, Texas. They stay busy in their off time through hiking, saltwater fishing, and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
