Andy Wesley

Andy Wesley is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor and a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Currently, Andy is the Operations Manager for several of SAM’s Midwestern regional offices. His responsibilities include leading and developing teams of senior managers working in the survey, subsurface utility engineering (SUE), and geospatial markets. Andy regularly serves as a subject matter expert for railroads, oil and gas, electric utilities and renewables, as well as terrestrial scanning and asset management.  He also leads the regional financial planning and reporting for SAM’s North Central region.

Andy is a member of the Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association, American Council of Engineering Companies of Missouri, and the International Right of Way Association.  Andy has successfully delivered projects for many large clients and governmental agencies such as IDOT, MNDOT, MODOT, TxDOT, municipalities and counties, railroads, energy providers, solar and wind developers, private developments, and engineering and architectural firms.

Andy lives in St. Louis with his wife, Mitzi, and their two children. They enjoy spending time traveling together as a family, as well as staying active outdoors. He is a fan of Cardinals baseball and Blues hockey.  Andy’s favorite SAM core value is People. He believes in recognizing the unique strengths, perspectives, and experiences that every individual possesses, which is a guiding principle for both his personal and professional life.
