Allan Blades

Allan Blades has over 30 years of experience providing a variety of geospatial services in the Federal, State, Local and AEC industry.  Allan is a Director and the Corporate Federal Market Leader for the company. His responsibilities include monitoring and assessing the government markets and fostering growth within each of SAM’s business units in all service offerings. Allan also provides strategic leadership for the company and federal market by working with the executive management team to establish long-range goals, strategies, and plans to accomplish SAM’s strategic objectives.

Allan is a Certified GIS Professional (GISP) and a member of several industry associations, including the Society of Military Engineers (SAME), American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS), United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF), and MAPPS, an association involved in many aspects and benefits of the geospatial field.  Allan’s professional experience spans a wide range of Federal, State, Local agencies and AEC clients successfully executing projects for national infrastructure, defense, transportation, and engineering companies.

Allan’s favorite SAM core value is Excellence in Service. He believes understanding the client’s needs and providing the best solution to their problems is paramount to establishing trust and building long-lasting relationships, which is ultimately key to SAM’s broader success and future growth. He resides in New Jersey with his wife and has three daughters. Allan enjoys boating, golfing, and spending time outdoors with his family.
