SAM’s SUE department provided Quality Level B services and electronically swept for underground utilities at approximately 152 PI Pole locations for approximately 154 miles of proposed 345kV electric transmission lines. The proposed transmission line easements are 150 feet wide and span seven counties, crossing greenfield land, county roads, highways, rivers and railroads. In addition to the PI sweeps, one-call ticket requests with current Texas One-Call system notification centers were made for the entirety of the proposed easement. The one-call marks as well as visible utility surface features were surveyed along the entire project route.
