We are pleased to announce that George Totten, RPLS has joined SAM Companies as the Transportation Lead for Surveying and Subsurface Utility Engineering in our Houston, Texas office. He has substantial experience and knowledge with the Texas transportation market and at SAM will support our continued growth and expansion in that market.
In his 40+ years of surveying experience, Mr. Totten has held senior management roles with several Houston engineering and survey firms, as well as starting and running his own successful survey company in the Houston area. Mr. Totten’s proven experience in building and developing a transportation-focused team aligns well with SAM’s strategic vision for transportation services overall. His background includes a full range of professional practice services and extensive engagement with engineering and public sector clients, such as Harris County and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
Mr. Totten has previously worked with the SAM Houston office and is now returning to the firm.
