We are pleased to announce that Joe Costell has joined SAM as a Damage Prevention Program Administrator out of our Columbus, Ohio office. With his extensive regional management experience, Mr. Costell will work with our operations group in Damage Prevention across a wide array of utilities.
“Joe understands the logistics and leadership required for managing multiple large-scale projects for varying utility owners. We sought out Joe for his well-established and respected position within the damage prevention community in this region. We knew adding him to the SAM team would enhance our existing talented project staff and broaden our market view,” said Department Manager, Rhett Sloan.
Moreover, SAM’s business development staff and senior management are expanding to other utilities outside of the natural gas sector to promote SAM’s asset management and damage prevention solutions. Mr. Costell’s knowledge of owner needs for multiple utility companies will be instrumental in achieving this goal.
Mr. Costell is excited to work with the Columbus team to further develop an already successful damage prevention department. He is particularly keen on expanding SAM’s services throughout the underground utility community to ensure communities are safer, clients receive world-class service, and there are fewer underground utility damages.
