We are pleased to announce that Tripp Corbin, GISP, has joined SAM Companies as a Business Development Manager on our Aerial-GIS team. Based out of our Atlanta, Georgia, office, Mr. Corbin’s extensive knowledge and experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) will be leveraged to further expand the geographic reach of SAM’s GIS services. Mr. Corbin, who is the author of three GIS-related books, will also conduct classes and workshops within SAM.
Mr. Corbin has over 25 years of experience overseeing surveying, mapping, and GIS projects, which includes owning his own GIS specialty firm. He is a certified GIS professional and an expert in multiple geospatial software packages, such as Esri, Autodesk, and Trimble products. Mr. Corbin is also a Certified ArcGIS Pro Associate and has served in various professional organizations, including as past president of the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association.
